This 10-pound note from the Central Bank of Egypt (dated 16 December 1971) features the statue of Pharaoh Khafre on the front with Arabic inscriptions. The reverse shows the denomination in English with ornate floral designs.
It reflects Egypt’s Pharaonic heritage on one side and its modern state identity on the other.
